Now this is more like the Mudvayne I knew way back when. I might actually give this album a listen when it drops.
| |
Much better effort. Drummer is tight in this track.
| |
hope this doesnt suck
| |
Decent song, good pacing.
| |
the song's okay...
| |
I think it's pretty average....
Well, okay. But not good Mudvayne
| |
Yeah nothing of LD 50 poportions at all, decent though, probably a 2.5/5 maybe a 3. The pace was decent that's about all it had going for it, opening riff was decent as well
| |
I'm just holding onto the idea that this was just a bad choice for a first taste
| |
The drumming is pretty alpha, but the bass is inaudible...which scares me. I don't think Chad's ever going to write good lyrics again, though.
| |
wait wait wait, didn't they just have an album?
| |
they recorded two in the same session.
| |
Yeah, but apparently The New Game was actually recorded awhile back, it was postponed so Mudvayne could tour in support for it straight away, as opposed to waiting for the Hellyeah tour to finish up.
This album was recorded last year, or so I heard.
| |
New Game - recorded late 07
This one - late last year
| |
Pretty cool that they have extra material floating around, song was ok. If the album gets decent scores I'll look into it.
| |
song is ok.site pwns
| |
I hope this record is better than "The New Game".
They should bring back the makeup.
| |
meh its ok
| |
Not too bad. As has been stated before, however, it is nowhere near L.D 50, nor should you have expected it to be.
| |
Bad.
| |
the pace is good but otherwise the song is very very meh. Just like Zipper, if the album gets good scores i'll look into it, if not, then won't.
| |
It's Okay, I Just Want Some of the Metal Back =/
| |
they brought back their sound from lost and found, which makes me happy.
they should make some more uptempo stuff though
| |
Pretty good for newer Mudvayne, their most recent albums have been awful.
| |
For Mudvayne standards it's better than last offerings, but yeah it's ok. Where are you Ryan?
| |
pretty sure that having a vein made of mud isnt good
| |
oh phantom you and your jokes
| |
that one wasn't a joke, it was a serious medical observation.
| |
and a good one too
| |
pretty good.
| |
song isnt bad... ld50 was amazing but i dont think they'll over go back to playing like that..
and i'm totally shocked that Ryan Martinie's jazzy basslines don't even stand out on this track!!
like stated above, the bass is inaudible, and that makes me a sad panda.
| |
I like how the drummer does blasts and double bass rolls, thus make him awesome.
Or making him average as far as metal drummers go.
| |
can't wait :D
