Bridgers Reimagines Nirvana 2026-08-28 by John Marinakis CONTRIBUTOR | 10 Comments | Phoebe Bridgers has performed an acoustic cover of Nirvana's Lithium for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.
Accompanied by longtime collaborator Christian Lee Hutson, Bridgers transforms the Nevermind classic into a sparse and intimate rendition built around gently intertwined guitars and restrained vocals.
The session was recorded on August 18 as Bridgers promoted her recently released third solo album, Lost Weekend. She also performed two songs from the record, Lost Boys and Bobby.
