New Zealand-based progressive death metal savages BLINDFOLDED AND LED TO THE WOODS will unveil their third album, Nightmare Withdrawals, at the end of March. With the record only a few weeks from release, Decibel Magazine is hosting an exclusive stream of the new single, “The White Of The Eyes.”

Nightmare Withdrawals was recorded at The Sitting Room Studio, mixed by Samuel K Sproull, mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music, and completed with cover art by Agreatmass and additional artwork/design by Nina Morice. The album features guest vocal contributions from Karl Sanders of Nile on “Atop The Wings Of A Magpie” and Callum Gay of Spook The Horses on “Lucid Visitations.”
You can watch the video for “Atop The Wings Of A Magpie” here:

With the new single, “The White Of The Eyes,” BLINDFOLDED AND LED TO THE WOODS bassist Nick Smith reveals, "On the surface 'The White Of The Eyes' is a tribute to David Lynch's Twin Peaks. It became apparent writing the rest of the album that there were a lot of themes exploring dreams and the concept of time. At the time I was heavily engrossed in the latest season of Twin Peaks and couldn't help but notice a lot of similarity to the themes presented by Lynch. It was one of the songs that came together relatively quickly and was the first song we finished in the studio."
You can listen to the new track via their stream on Decibel:
