Restoring Force had a couple decent tunes but these dudes fell off so fucking hard after The Flood and every time they make an attempt to recapture that sound it comes off feeling so hollow and generic.

Also, I hate Aaron Pauley's vocals in OM&M. He was a lot better in Jamie's Elsewhere.

Not even the same band anymore and as stupid as the "3 2 1 BOOM" thing is- I kinda dig it.

Thought the 3 2 1 BOOM shit was gonna be before a breakdown but it's actually in the chorus too lol.

I might get some flak for this, but what I find Of Mice & Men really nails is the explosive/catchy choruses. They work so well because the guitar work in most of their verses is standard at best. Nothing special, nothing terrible either. In other words, their 'melodic' side comes from the choruses, not impressive guitar work. If they create a song that just relies on gearing the same riff amongst the first couple of strings/frets of the guitar, it's sadly not that interesting for me. Again, that's just me.

@henry Austin is basically dying so he had to drop out of the band. Or something like that. His hearts fucked up.

This is so hilariously bad. They weren't good with Austin but he was talented enough to give it a spin every once in a while. T his is just an abomination
