Ex-vocalist left because of similar allegations I believe.

Looking forward to seeing where these guys go from here. Not ground breaking music, but it's quite fun and will absolutely slay live. Just wondering if their popularity ceiling is going to be as high as a Northlane/In Hearts Wake or if they'll never completely take off.

They won't, despite their rapey-ness, I like them. However, they are playing super trendy music.

That's where my intrigue lies. Parkway, Northlane, In Hearts Wake, Amity etc etc all got huge starting out playing trendy music. They have managed to evolve (although Amity took their sweet time) and stay relevant. Wondering if a band playing this style gaining a bit of traction can still be killing it in 10 years time.

Amity have become a joke.
Northlane are only coasting.
Parkway are doing okay I guess, nothing special.

We copy the yanks so much that we don't really try to do our own thing. Also, they are scene kids so many of them aren't amazing with their instruments.

Not necessarily talking about their skill or competency, but more popularity. The American bands in the scene are dying slow painful deaths due to an ability to change anything up.
And Amity were becoming a joke but I thought the risk they took on Misery was a positive step. Hasn't stopped them maintaining a huge fanbase. And people can say what they want about Parkways new music, but they have never been more popular.
