Song sounds like rejected Option Paralysis material. Not that that's a bad thing, seeing as how that album was phenomenal. I'd probably rate this song somewhere in the 3.0-3.5 range. Def drags a bit in the end, but then kicks it into fucking overdrive for the last 30 seconds or so.

AndManyMore how long have you been around on Sputnik? Because Jeet's comment is pretty accurate imo. I remember in the span of 2008 to around 2011 all Sputnik ever spoke about in high regard was Converge, TDEP, Brand New, Opeth, Deftones, Radiohead, etc. I mean, that still happens today, but it was far more aggressive during those years.

I feel like this is the kind of band that a lot of people just listen to to wait for the weird parts. The chaotic discordant bits get so tiring

I'd imagine they're unreal live though

errr option paralysis was pretty damn worshipped here in 2010/11. He wasn't making stuff up. When I think of overhyped sputnik bands Dillinger is up there. Not quite as hyped as converge or brand new used to be, but yeah
