Detroit, Michigan-based hardcore collective The Armed have released their untitled second album as a free download via Bandcamp.

The album, which is the group's first full-length release since 2009's These Are Lights, was produced and mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge) and features session drums by Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists, SUMAC).

I swear the article as I originally wrote it said "hardcore/metalcore". I consider them more of a hardcore band but I see them described as metalcore a lot (including here) so I included both. No idea why it was changed.

I've edited it, though. If only one genre is going to be mentioned, hardcore is definitely more accurate.

This album is the fucking tits and I wish I had known about this band when I still lived in Michigan.
