Limp Bizkit kick out DJ Lethal

2013-03-22 by BigBlob | 57 Comments
It appears that Limp Bizkit have decided to get rid of their DJ Lethal, as he is to play no part in their up and coming summer tour.

The DJ had already previously been fired from Limp Bizkit after lead singer Fred Durst became unhappy with his 'hardcore partying habits'. However, they eventually forgave him and he rejoined the band last year.

But it now seems the hardcore rap-metal band have had enough, and kicked him off the tour. They even went to the bother of changing the original tour poster so that Lethal's image was removed from it.

Lethal expressed his disappointment with a tweet that read-

“Pretty bummed out. Was looking forward to going back out on the road and rockin out. It wasn’t my decision. I’m open. Imagine twice. Smh.”

Wonder if he had any involvement on the upcoming stuff and whether they'll keep it.

The band is probably better off without him. Now all they have to do is fire durst and they'll be good

I guess this isn't particularly surprising but it's a shame they couldn't keep the original line up together

Their only "good" albums are Unquestionable Truth and Gold Cobra. Borland just needs to bring the riffs and hopefully has evoked an evolution in said riffs.

Wasn't gonna say evoke but my iPod recommended it instead of just saying evolving lol

It's pretty much universally accepted that Wes Borland and Sam Rivers are the best things about the band as they're the two that clearly have a great deal of talent, and Wes is able to showcase his in Black Light Burns. Also quite clear Borland was a key driving force for keeping them good considering what happened with Results May Vary when they got Mike Smith (shoulda tried to keep Head in as he helped write that one song Crack Addict which imo was pretty decent). So I don't think DJ Lethal will be missed.
