Red Fang is the only band that is alright here. I feel bad for them. Why would they do this to themselves. They play loud, riff heavy shit that is just going to daunt and bore this kind of crowd.

I'm going to the San Bernardino show where Megadeth is being replaced by Dethklok and In Flames is being replaced by Testament. I'd rather see Megadeth but I'm stoked to see Testament again!

Meh. Megadeth are worth seeing. Possibly Trivium and Unearth. Saw In Flames on Gigantour 2008 and they had a really bad live show. If they upped their game live, that'd be enough to make it worth it.

But as it stands, not worth it to me, since I've seen Megadeth a couple times.

in flames blows now. they don't play anything older than like rerout, except maybe one song off of clayman (almost always pinball map) Every time I've seen them they've grown more and more boring and uninspired. bleech.

If i go I'm going to go for Megadeth, In Flames (hope they play older material) and Red Fang (maybe Machine Head Ive heard they are good live). If they tickets are cheap I'll go just for Megadeth.
The extreme stage is excreibly lame. 2 deathcore bands and some unknown nu metal band. Not really extreme.
and the other 2 headlinders are metal for 40 year old men. br00tal.
I really wished I went to the 2009 one with Slayer, Behemoth, Black Dahlia and Cannibal Corpse.

Oh...and Godsmack will bring back the nostalgia.

Godsmack is responsible for getting me into rock music, Disturbed is partially responsible for getting me into metal. Say what you want, but if you were a 90s kid just finding his place in the heavy music scene, these two bands were extremely influential. So that's why they're on Mayhem. I will be going, if only for nostalgia's sake (and for Unearth, In Flames and All Shall Perish).
