I've only heard one song off this so far. It was pretty good, I guess.

EDIT: Okay, so I heard 'Since We've Been Wrong' and it was excellent. I'm excited for this now.

Something about Since We've Been Wrong gives me sort of a King Crimson vibe...

The song is really good but that is the most contrived piece of art I've ever seen.

Wow, I'm gonna surprise myself by saying this, but I'm really looking forward to this. June is pretty damn stacked in terms of great releases.

Am I the only one who really doesn't like the artwork?
Also I cannot wait until I can hear this album.
It's like a crack withdrawal.

I like these two better than most of their recent stuff simply because Cedric is singing like he did on De-Loused and Frances: maybe he's realized that his voice is too good to be trying to sound like a robot. I think that this could be classic.

I've loved every TMV album. Some (Deloused, Amputechture) more than others, but I wouldn't rate any of their albums below 3.5. But I have to admit that the stripped down sound is absolutely welcome. I disagree that this sounds like Deloused -- outside of the production and maybe Cedric's clean vocals. The complete songs and even the 30 second clips of the unleaked material are less technical -- less "prog" -- but still circling the stratosphere and clearly sounding like TMV. I am looking forward to this album.

altho i rated it a 3 on the site.. id realy give it a 3.5 some what dissapointing it does lack an epic build of emotion that explodes like earlier albums.. but thats not the approach they took as we all know. it has quite a bit of feeling through out but some times u just miss that electricity that previous records have had.

dang. i really liked this.

took a bit to grow on me though.

frankly, i cant speak much for TMV. i've listened to De-Loused dozens of times, but i never managed to get past the annoying 9 minutes of ambiance tht starts Frances.

i need to actually listen to the album...
