Since when did these guys get this bad? Gravity is the last glimpse of any quality from them and I'm not going to bother with this new album.

I thought Happiness in Paranoid Times was pretty good...
They've still got some left in them...you'll see.

Jom and Mike will love this as seen above.

The rest of the world doesn't care.

But I suppose liking OLP is not a fish that you can catch.

Since when did these guys get this bad?

Last time I checked they've always been terrible.

^ Nah.

I had read that they were going to try to make a proper rock album again, comparing it to Naveed. While I like the song and basically all of the band's output (some albums more than others), if other songs on the album are like this, they lied. This is just the single, though, so there may be more rocking songs on the album. At least I hope so.

Man, Naveed was fantastic, Clumsy was one of the greatest albums IMO of the 90's, but since then, the albums have been getting weaker. Happiness is good, but not as good as clumsy, and Spiritual Machines had too much filler with just some voice talking.

Gravity and Happiness in Paranoid Times just don't sound like OLP anymore, and this sounds like it's the same thing. OLP always had a really unique sound, but Bob Rock taking them over, and their guitarist quitting really broke the band. They just sound like every other rock band.

That is a little harsh. Lifehouse still blows circles of lame around OLP

These guys were like my favourite band when I was 12 or so (around the time Clumsy came out).
I haven't listened to them in ages but man oh man, this new song is just fucking horrid. I could hardly listen to the whole thing.
