That was hella sick.

Saw this song live last Friday in State College, they fucking ripped everything apart.
|
| |
Sounds exactly like all their other songs...ok-ish instrumentation, bad vocals.

I'm not really a fan of theirs, but this song is a little less generic than their other stuff. I'll check out the album when it drops.
Being a bit of a guitar geek of sorts, am I the only one slightly annoyed with the fact that the only lead-esque work is always just minor arpeggios endlessly repeated? Complaining aside though, it's nice to see a deathcore band that can do more than hammer away on the the first few frets of the guitar.

these guys are the poster-boys for everything wrong with deathcore.
with that said, new song is pretty generic, but less generic than I thought it would be. Still generic tho.
|
| |
this is better than their recent record which was garbage, its nothing special though.
|
| |
amazing
|
| |
Not too much different from their old stuff, but an improvement nonetheless.
|
| |
that was bad
|
| |
Some solid death metal riffs in here for sure, but some of the breakdowns and vocals are still really annoying.
|
| |
perhaps they will suicide and they will finally being silent
|
| |
Without Born of Osiris and Veil of Maya, deathcore seems like a lost genre. =(
This song though is a lot better then anything i've heard from Suicide Silence. Maybe their new album will be worth listening too ehh.

i know suicide silence isn't anything terribly special or whatnot, but i still enjoy them a lot. but on a great show n are pretty fukkin heavy. i'm diggin the new track and the new ones they played when i last saw them.
also, veil of maya is alright, but they get old pretty quickly. i mean they can play some tech shit, but they're kinda repetitive. born of osiris needs to mature their sound a bit, but i think they mos def having something going for them.
|
| |
pretty good song, they really need to move away from the super slow "super br00t4lz" breakdowns though. At least that isn't the whole song this time.
and the sweeps sounded good, even if they are some of the most generic sweeps that every band uses. 50/50 chance of this being an improvement over their previous
|
| |
Wow, this is actually good! Who expected that.
|
| |
Deathcore is a lost genre even with Born Of Osiris and Veil Of Maya
|
| |
better than i expected...

Deathcore is a lost genre: Born Of Osiris and Veil Of May
there you go
|

perhaps they will suicide and they will finally being silent
Wonderful!
|
| |
generic.
|

I listened to this again and i'm really impressed by how much SS stepped up their music.
Instrumentals are lacking still, but the vocals save it.
|
| |
yea i think the vocals are the best part... instrumentally ok
|
| |
Looooooooooooooooooooooool
|
| |
I'm suprised people dont like the vocals, mitch is actually a really good vocalist. He just needs a better band.
