The THRASH & BURN Tour

The organizers of the SUMMER SLAUGHTER Tour have just announced a second nationwide underground festival tour to take place later in the Summer!

It’s called The THRASH & BURN Tour, presented by Revolver Magazine in conjunction with Deathcote, Merch Now and Iron Fist Clothing.

While SUMMER SLAUGHTER is known to be “The Most Extreme Tour of the Year” with a cutting edge line-up focused on pure progressive brutality and the different faces of death metal, The THRASH & BURN Tour will showcase a diverse mix of underground metal bands who draw from decades of Thrash, Punk and Hardcore to mold their 21st century sounds.

THRASH & BURN aims to give the underground metal fan a relatively inexpensive way to see two handfuls of the most relevant bands today in an indoor setting.

Darkest Hour will be supported by Parkway Drive, Misery Signals, Winds of Plague, Stick to Your Guns, ARSIS, Light this City, Arsonists Get All the Girls and After the Burial.

All stops on the tour will see the addition of a special guest band for a total of 10 national acts each night. Special Guests scheduled to appear on certain dates include Suicide Silence, As Blood Runs Black, Emmure, Veil of Maya, Brother Von Doom and more.

Initial batch of tour dates below can be found on:

I would really liek to see misery signals and darkest hour, and parkway drive isn't bad but I don't know if I could sit though Emmure, winds of plague or veil of maya with out killing a few small animals

Man, it would be silly to have actual thrash bands on the Thrash and Burn tour. Just silly...

Darkest Hour ruled live and After The Burial were decent, too bad the rest of the bands suck except for Misery and Light This City. I'm pretty much infatuated with Laura Nichols so if it hit's Florida i'll go for them.

Don't you mean "WINDS OF FUCKING PLAGUE"? This lineup is awful and the name of the tour is completely misleading. There are no thrash bands and consists of nothing more than hardcore/deathcore bands. The only band worth seeing is Arsis and they should've just gone back to Summer Slaughter.

On the odd chance I do go, I better bust out my high school gym pants to fit in with all the baller shorts.

it cant be a modern thrash tour without Warbringer.

Arsis, WOP, After the Burial and darkest hour are great, but no where near thrash.

Agreed. Warbringer's absence is unacceptable. Where is The Absence? Testament would've been great since, you know, they are kind of legendary and just got back together! Overkill would've been nice, but they already have a tour but they still could've got on here.

I'm not even into thrash that much but this lineup is a joke. It's just hardcore+Arsis and that's it.

Thrash and Burn tour, featuring no thrash bands.

I guess that's the burn.
