New Disturbed Video

2008-05-02 by Jom | 16 Comments
Chicago rockers Disturbed have debuted "Inside the Fire" at UG.tv. The track, which comes from the forthcoming Indestructible (out June 3rd), features a difficult topic to discuss: suicide.

The video is prefaced by a black-and-white montage from frontman David Draiman, who states that suicide is something that he unfortunately was exposed to at an earlier time in his life (it is reported that "Inside the Fire" is directly related to this experience).

If you or a loved one has suicidal ideation, the below phone numbers are excellent resources:

1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433)
1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255)

I love this song, this video is freaky. I can't wait for the new album in June

Yeah that was one f'ed up video. I did like 10,000 Fists and this song sounds pretty good. Hey, maybe Disturbed is getting better.

Yeah, that's pretty much why I almost committed suicide a few years ago.
Song's average with a decent bridge, which is the usual as far as Disturbed goes.

Considering how serious the song's subject matter supposedly is, I got the feeling that this video was more than just a little "BRUUTALY" exploitative.

On a sidenote, I don't care at all about Disturbed. Song was average. This Message Edited On 05.03.08

Song was kinda lame but i've never been a big fan of the band. I find it a little disrespectful that they have that suicide disclaimer and the song begins with an "evil laugh."
Writing a song about what you fee is cool but don't have a stupid cliche beginning like that. And the video was very brutal for a serious topic like that.

I like the song, but the video was pretty fucked up.

I find it a little disrespectful that they have that suicide disclaimer and the song begins with an "evil laugh."

That was actually pretty disturbing.

Lyrically, I was never a huge fan of this song anyways. I'm all for songs on sensitive issues and I actually do like the song as a whole, but all the talk of "portals" and "souls" sort of takes away the serious-ness of the issue they're trying to help with. Just my opinion anyways.

Either way, meh video. Suits the song I guess. This Message Edited On 05.03.08

disturbed are pretty good for a nu-metal band
but still, david's acting was pretty....bad
i mean, if i saw a loved one hanging off a noose, first thing i would do is to try to get them out of it, just in case they're still alive, not immediately fall to my knees and start crying at their feetThis Message Edited On 05.04.08
