I don't about everyone else, but I thought it was damn good. If the rest of the album has this sort of vibe I'll love it. Everything was quite good...guitars drove the song forward, subtle synth stuff added quite a bit to the song, and great vocals as always.
I'm sure everyone else will say it sucks cause it's not like their old stuff or something though.

Reminds me alot of Reroute to Remain era (which was solid album IMO). I really enjoy the tight guitaring throughout. It kind of has a nice, anthem kind of vibe to it.
Whether you view this as a good thing or not, get used to the fact that In Flames will never revert back to their old ways.

I think the new song is pretty awesome. It's even better than I was expecting. It's definitely a step in the right direction. It sounds better than anything off of Come Clarity. The guitar actually kinda reminds me of the old days and the synth was pretty cool as well. Anders changed his vocal style again as well and I like it. Overall, it sounds like a more developed version of their newer sound and it's definitely more interesting than the new CoB.

It doesn't sound like Come Clarity Pt. 2 either, which the haters are of course going to claim. As far as choruses go, it wasn't bad.

Well, I don't consider anything by In Flames terrible.
I consider their first three albums amazing.

Colony is one step below amazing.
Clayman is great.

Reroute is good.
Soundtrack is decent.
Clarity was in between Reroute and Soundtrack.

This is alright.
From what I hear, this new CD will be their biggest sellout record to date.

At least they don't hide their old stuff from new fans.

I thought Come Clarity was a great album, not their best, but great. I still think this is better than most off of that. Maybe not better than Leeches, but close.

I've never understood the hate for Anders' voice. I like it because it's different. Flawless vocalists have always been boring to me anyway.

it was better than i expected. nice guitar work and drumming. still think anders should avoid trying to sing... its been said plenty of times but he needs his old voice back. haha. they're starting to redeem themselves after releasing that piece of shit Soundtrack To Your Escape, but nothing spectacular. not sure what to expect of the album.

Damn, not bad at all. The drums and lead guitar harmonies really drive this song well. It is different, but In Flames always grow and expand they're sound differently with every album, keeps things nice and interesting.
