Lol.

They make 2007 suck in terms of music with that list.

That list really sucks. No matter how bad ours will be, it will definetly be better than that.

That was a really bad list

Wooh, that was pretty bad. There's not one album on that list, that I would have on mine. Although, there are some I have yet to check out.

I guess they didn't like Radiohead either.

I saw 2 and 3 live on the same night.

I'd rather see bland indie pop instead of BTBAM and Coheed.

Wow. Terrible list. But there's still stuff that I need to check out(such as the Radiohead album)

The thing is that BTBAM is better than 95% of that list, and Coheed is better than a big of that list too even if the albums isn't that amazing.

The lack of Thrice, Streetlightlight, and BTBAM ends any type of credibility this list could have (apart for like 2 albums).

Edit: Make that 3 albums. I though I didn't need to say this but the list lost credibility towards me. All the Against Me fans are probably wanking to that list and that site for winning the #1, and many other people for the list in general.

lolololol

against me! have no fans. all their old fans hate them now, and they still have yet to gain enough exposure to have fans that would care if they are on top of some shitty list.

Believe it or not there are people in this world who are not turned on by the likes of Thrice and Streetlight Manifesto.

Yes, but they aren't REAL people, and everyone knows that.

i had to sit through an against me set at a mastodon show, and i'd never seriously thought of suicide up until that point.

i thought 3 chord punk died after rise against started singing about the starving children alongside bono.

uh...no. Most fans agree that New Wave is their worst album.

Of all the 2007 albums though, I've probably listened to New Wave the most, and seen most of songs live twice so it's grown quite a bit on me and I think it's a good album, but has nothing on what they've done before it.This Message Edited On 12.16.07

So im gonna take the risk of being flamed, but I think Coheed deserves 1... Ive heard nothing else remotely as good... It wasn't perfect but it was better than everything on that list. Arctic Monkeys are so overrated. Against Me, as far as I know, is not too great either. Oh well. If any of you. metal heads and haters of "mainstream" just for the sake of hating mainstream, people have any suggestions as far as better albums this year, please let me in on the secret.

I'd rather see AM! at the top of a year end list than radiohead, but whatever.

And I dunno, AM! has a lot of new fans thanks to New Wave. I saw them play before Paramore at a radio festival, and they got all the scene paramore fans into it.

I actually didn't read the list, but eh.

New Wave is my favorite against me album and I've known about them since 2001. Motion City Soundtrack and JEW should have been on that list though. Anyway, I can see Against Me getting really popular, I hope they do, they really deserve it for touring so hard/putting out such great records for so long. peaceThis Message Edited On 12.17.07

List fails.
It only took them ten years to bump OK Computer ahead of Nevermind for "Best Album of the Past Twenty Years"... and I was just starting to take them seriously. Against Me!'s worst album does not deserve to win for 2007, and I find it silly that QOTSA's worst is up there, too. Also, fuck Kanye at #4 and fuck Lil' Wayne and Icky Thump at 11 and 10, respectively.
Spin fails at 2007.

what are you all fucking whining about?? It's a fucking SPIN list!!! They don't give a shit about metal. Aside from heavier artists missing it's not that bad of a list. Yay for Justice, The Hives, Arcade Fire, BRMC, and Turbonegro. Still...highly flawed and limited though...
