I don't like this idea.
It's been over 15 years, just let your legacy live on untainted, because chances are this won't come close to Loveless

I'll join the chorus of skeptical sputnik users.

i'm really excited. i can understand why people would want a legacy that ended perfectly to stay that way, but quite frankly, they should care less about that. it's about making the music that they love. not about what anyone else thinks. that's what it SHOULD be about.

lol

YES
|

I'll get it, I have to start somewhere... someone on here has suggested them to me a few times and I always forget to look into them.
|
| |
I've only got Loveless and its awesome. Maybe I will look into this.
|
| |
I'm skeptical, but still excited as hell.
Oh man.
|
| |
Like everyone else I'm a little wary of this, but I'd rather it come out than not, just on the off chance it's anything close to Loveless standard.
|
| |
Yeah, Loveless is incredible but this will probably be kinda bad
|
| |
i'm in the minority, i think this will be great
come on, it's made by the man that made Loveless
|
| |
Exactly, so if they fuck up it's all the more disappointing. Having said that, I definitely want to hear it.
|
| |
the stuff I've read in interviews about the post-Loveless album makes it sound kind of bad, but there is absolutely no way I will miss this. I'm interested to hear the new stuff as well, but I guess that goes without saying.
here's hoping they tour or something
|
| |
Sounds cool, maybe this will give me an excuse to check em out.
|
| |
There are only 2 possibilities:
This will either be Amazing Awesome Ginormous Etc. Or it will be okay. Usually albums like this would be either great or awful, because we all know the MBV couldn't possibly make a bad album, just an okay one. Not really something i'd expect orreally want to happen, but I'll buy it the second it comes out. If any band would reunite It should be Slint or Rodan.

i am skeptical and excited ALL AT ONCE
