I made an account just to express my opinion on this whole album after listening to it.......

Im not impressed by it at all. Watching their videos on youtube and reading their blogs before and when they finished their album shows that they have become arrogant and think they're the s*** now and this album shows that.

I think i'll go back to listening to Colors and Miss Machine

This album sucks. It's 3 at most, probably a 2.5.

Ive never understood what people see in these guys. They were awful in the past and this album is no different. The lead singer has one of the worst screams ever!

I've enjoyed everything DEP has put out, but this just flat-out sucks.

i think it's good. i'm glad it's not another Calculating Infinity, cos as amazing as that album is a lot of what makes it so special is it's uniqueness. C.I was sheer technical genius, with little regard to much else musically. the fact that they've elaborated on Miss Machine and kept shoving in more and more crazy ideas means that Ire Works sounds different. compromising technicality for diversity isn't a bad thing in my view. well, not when it actually sounds quite good. Okay, Dep always play their songs in an 'odd' meter.

The only songs I find horrible are Milk Lizard and the verses to Black Bubblegum are laughable.

yes I know, but they sound way to similiar, its almost like panasonic youth gave birth and its children are the songs on this album.

i completely agree with the comment above me. thats exactly what i was thinking... the whole time the songs were playing i was thinking oh so they made a concept album based on panasonic youth?

That's weird. I find them similar, but panasonic youth's intro is only one chord over a weird progression but fix your face has more than one chord plus palm muting. That's the only similarities I can find with the intros.

Sweet Lord Black Bubblegum is bad. Man I was totally hoping for a masterpiece, I didn't even listen to any of the songs early. This is poor.
