Thy Worshiper go west to Eden 2026-01-08 by arthropod | 1 Comments | Polish folk/black metal group Thy Worshiper has unveiled the first single off the upcoming album Demony Wschodu, set to release on Feb. 13. Titled "Od Edenu na wschód", the song takes a more gothic route than the band's earlier works. It also marks their first release after recent lineup changes: the return of a former drummer Bartosz Maruszak, previously featured on Czarna Dzika Czerwień and Klechdy, and the clean vocal duties being taken over by Eli from Narbo Dacal. To promote the single's mother record, the band is also going to embark on a short tour by the end of February.

Notes:
1. The drummer left in 2018 and rejoined last year. However, since 2022 he's been in a pagan bm band called Popiół, which has been composed almost entirely of active and former members of Thy Worshiper.
2. Eli, the new female vocalist, is also the vocalist and bassist of a sludge band Narbo Dacal, also signed to Piranha Music. I strongly recommend checking them out because 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘴𝘰. They share the drummer with Owls Woods Graves.
