By default, I would simply avoid Marilyn Manson. I can't imagine he's a level headed, delightful individual to be in the presence of. Not victim blaming.. must stating the facts. If I don't wanna be stung by a bee, I probably shouldn't stand next to a beehive.

said it before but considering this is still being dragged out : mansons more than capable of being an asshole/manipulating people, there's a probable reason that half of his exbandmates have ended up suing him. that said : dunno if they could really charge him with rape for statute of limitation reasons alone.

i've grown up with his music, by the late 00s my perception was he was just a washed up junkie and i lost interest. i started getting interested again when it seemed like he was putting his life back together, thaaan all the details of his junkie bullshit came to light. i've glanced at like the mm reddit every other month and its clear there's grifters on both sides, the most vocal are usually the least involved with the case and usually link a patreon account(ex. 'Colonel Kurtz'). idk i hope that manson will own up to whatever bullshit he had going on, and anyone he hurt should get some closure/heal.

i heard this guy was going to go the johnny depp route since they were buddies and he watched how that all went down, but we haven't seen that yet if it's true.

Hopefully a lot of the disturbing things I’ve heard are untrue, but the reality is that women of age have agency to make decisions. It is a terrible thing if a man can manipulate you and take advantage of circumstances, but if you have agency then you always have a choice with your actions. Dating an asshole and realizing you made mistakes and accepted circumstances you wish afterwards you didn’t is not a crime.
