should put enter shikari in the title because theres a band called Shikari
| |
aww man wtf i thought the good shikari was back
| |
see sin's comment for evidence
| |
anyways, song is incredibly meh
| |
Idk ya'll. I fuck with this. Sounds like more of their last album to me. It'd probably be a bit better with only Rou on vocals but this would totally be a blast to see live. Doesn't hold a candle to their first 4 albums but I don't expect them to go back to that sound anyway.
| |
wow this is impressively bad
| |
Yeah, I was really into this from the start, but the chorus is far from great. Definitely feels like there needs to be more stuff happening. Awesome pre chorus that turned into mid 2000's Paramore madness.

| |
Between every album release as far as i know these guys release a bunch of singles, and those singles are usually shots in the dark. Sometimes these tracks are ass. Sometimes we have something amazing (looking at you, rat race ep).
This current cycle seems underwhelming.
| |
I feel like this has a lot of potential but ultimately feels half-finished or missing something
| |
lame.
also, who the hell is Cody Frost?
| |
I just swapped gender listening to this.
| |
It's... Fine? I guess. I can almost hear them channeling new era Bring Me The Horizon in this, which I hope is not the case. Shikari always had a very distinct sound, even in their last album where they tripled down on the pop influence, it still had that Shikari charm.
| |
I like this more than the last single for sure
| |
I did not ask for this
| |
I liked it...
| |
sad to say but i am unfort in the camp of folks that didnt like this
| |
They should exit shikari
| |
Erm just change the band name if you gunna take it this direction. The connections between this and mothership are nil
| |
as if sounding like mothership is the only thing that defines this band sonically
| |
True dat onion
| |
i really like her voice tho even if i dont like the song itself
shes done some enter shikari covers on her youtube channel as well
| |
This is not for me but people will definitely like it
| |
Definitely sounds like a Enter Shikari-song-between-LPs song.
| |
yeah the zone and tribalism comps were great because they had all those early standalones
Thumper is one of their best tracks
| |
"This is not for me but people will definitely like it"
As a representative of people, I did indeed like it.
| |
damn I thought this bands name was enter shakira up until 10 seconds before posting this
| |
Im really ok with entering shakira, heard she's single rn
| |
Far from their best, but a bop. I don't really like the lyrics in the chorus... Unrelated, I just saw them live in Brisbane the other week - It's the most fun i've had at gig in ages, they are so damn good live.
| |
I put this on and got distracted and forgot what it was, then about a minute later I was like, this PVRIS song is pretty good.
| |
Definitely not the best Enter Shikari track but I think its...fine? Still optimistic about whatever their next project is at least.
| |
very meh sad to say, felt more like somebody featuring Enter Shikari instead of the other way around (2)
| |
Hate to say it, but I am not really into this. If Enter Shikari weren't in the video title I would not have been able to deduce it's them, it just felt a bit too generic. The track isn't really interesting
| |
terrible
| |
love ES, song slaps
