Say Anything have released the track listing, artwork, and release date for their upcoming follow-up to 2005's ...Is a Real Boy.
The release is a double disc concept album titled In Defense of the Genre and is due out on October 23rd, 2007. The track listing is as follows.
Disc One:

The track "Baby Girl, I'm a Blur" is slated to be the first single. Other noteworthy items include the guest list, which features appearances by members of My Chemical Romance, Saves the Day, Alkaline Trio, Dashboard Confessional, and Rainer Maria.

I'm not too happy about the guests, ...Is a Real Boy didn't have any guests and it kicked face, so I don't see why this new album needs them.
And 27 songs? Holy God of awesome, that rules.

...is a Real Boy was great but I'm a bit worried that this won't be. I really didn't enjoy Was a Real Boy and I'm hoping it gets away from that sound.

I do not understand the hype on these guys. This release will probably be bland and uninspired, rehashing what other bands created just like their last two albums were.
