Really good track, enjoying how melodic this one is.

What a guitar solo as well.

Hyperbole aside, Crawling King Chaos might be their best song since Damnation and a Day and I do not say that lightly.
This track is solid, I often find the slower tempo ones the weakest on the album though personally with COF.

Really? I did not like CKC quite that much. It's a little bland/monotonous/overlong to me. Definitely nice and I enjoy it, but nowhere near the top. Many better tracks since DAAD, on the last two records alone!

OK, bland was too harsh, but the rest is still true.

This is definitely shaping up to be true! Oh man, expectations were high and they're not letting us down by the sound of these two tracks 🥳💞

CKC is not even close to their best song since Damnation...

Yours Immortally? Western Vespertine?

Those definitely are contenders yes! Blackest Magick too. Nemesis. I Am The Thorn (loved that one!). Midnight Shadows. Deflowering The Maidenhead. Death and the Maiden.

(And very secretly Siding with the Titans........... ooooooops!)

Dig both singles hard tbh, this one is the best though.

i really can't fathom an opinion that CKC is "monotonous" it changes riffs constantly, especially regarding the standards in symphonic metal

I think it mainly was the drumming that I found monotonous. The riffs are one of the best things about New Cradle (meaning the last three albums, including this one), so naturally they are good.

They're really bringing their Maiden inspiration on this one. Think I may like this more than the first single...The orchestral stuff sounds better on tracks like this

Wow that's less than ideal. I'll hopefully squeeze it in after work tomorrow, might be tough as I'm assuming it's a long 'un.
