Lot of chugging. Lack the melodic and interesting guitar solo that is prevalent in the previous album. Some of the guitar riffs really remind me of Shadows Fall - The Power of I and I and Decapitated - Spheres of Madness.

I can just about separate the man from the music though and this continues to fucking slap. Groovy and rhythmically interesting. Excited for this album.

tbh I don't remember exactly what he was spewing but it really rubbed me the wrong way and didn't seem to be coming from the place of a happy, confident, empathetic person. Just better to not get a bitter taste in my mouth from that and have it ruin the music.

Yeah really there's nobody that does tech death exactly like this, and the secret ingredient is Oliver's speed. I could listen to them make the same album a million times. The material is just so dense and dizzying.
