RIP, ALS is horrifying and I hope it can be cured in the future.
Lori Meyers used to live upstairs...

Not familiar with the band but RIP to her. ALS is bad news
|
| |
Tragic, loved their first two as a kid.
|

Damn. I saw this band live a couple of times around festivals, during the 90s I believe. If I'm correct she's been in the reunited Pixies line up for a second, in recent years. May she rest in peace..

The Muffs did a cover of "Kids in America" for the soundtrack for Clueless in 95
I think that was their claim to fame

I loved the last Muffs album, Whoop Dee Doo.
That is sad news, gone way too soon, ALS is fucked.
Who the hell are you to tell me how to live?
You think I sell my body, I merely sell my time
I ain't no Cinderella, I ain't waiting for no prince
To save me in fact until just now I was doin' just fine
And on and on
I know what degradation feels like
I felt it on the floor at the factory
Where I worked long before, I took control
Now I answer to me
The 50k I make this year will go anywhere I please
Where's the problem?
Kim's outstanding vocals made Lori Myers one of my favourite tracks of all time.

Rest in peace, 56 is way too early to go.

So sad to hear this news. RIP Kim. The world will miss you.
|
| |
Such a horrible disease, RIP.
