Polkadot Stingray album #3 + MV 2019-07-18 by fluid in its most purist form. always drenched in an undeniable regal divinity. | 12 Comments | Japanese alt rock/funk band Polkadot Stingray have dropped a music video for their new song Aun alongside their upcoming mini-album, Hyper Klaxion (out September 25th). The song showcases a slightly poppier iteration of the band's trademark bright rock sound, while the video features the band as high school teachers attempting to encourage a flighty student to hang out with her crush.
Aun will be Polkadot Stingray's second major release this year and will follow February's Uchōten, a well received sophomore album that fleshed out their style across a broad range of genres. Pre-orders don't seem to be open yet, but the tracklist is a confirmed as follows:

They've been bloody relentless, especially this year - Uchōten is easy top 10 material and I'm hyped to see if they can keep up the standard. That's nuts re. Budokan, super cool that they have that much of a platform though
