Motionless in White Part 2

2019-05-10 by Tyler White EMERITUS | 14 Comments
Motionless in White have released yet another single from their upcoming album, Disguise, soon to be released on June 7th. "Undead Ahead 2: The Tale of the Midnight Ride" acts as a part two of "Undead Ahead" from Creatures.

The track shows a heavier metalcore approach compared to the previous singles, mixing hard breakdowns, more harsh vocals, and clean choruses tinged with orchestration. The video shows sporadic scenes of dark cartoon depictions.

Feel like I've heard this exact same song on all of their prior albums

This is cheesy but i like it. Too bad the rest of the album will be gross nu metal for edgy 12 year olds.

Wasn't huge on either of the first two singles, but I'm really enjoying this.

I really can't comprehend what the editor of the article is trying to say. How is this connected to 'Creatures?'

Never mind I get it. It is a track from their debut. I thought they were gonna make a concept album or something. Song kinda sucks, but it's refreshing to see them tap into their roots.

Dunno how to feel about this. Fell off of them after Reincarnate and haven’t listened to their latest. This song is decent, reminds me a little of their “Creatures” album.

Chris needs to lay off the obnoxious vocal effects in the hook, otherwise this fucking rips

the mixing is really bad. Why give their guitars that djun deathcore tone, then mix them low so they don't feel heavy or act as the focus of the music? They just highlight the vocals. And then those silly symphonics in the background, combined with the harsh vox make this feel like they're trying to bandwagon Dimmu Borgir.

They've stretched 20 seconds of video into over 4 and a half minutes.

I really like a few songs off their last two albums, but these guys overall have fallen the fuck off. This is fucking awful.

No thank you. I saw these guys live at CPR fest and they were total trash.

Song sounds a little like the last ice nine kills album. Needless to say its inferior to anything on that album
