"djentrepreneurs"
I got a good chuckle out of this.

not bad, but also not too exciting. Can't see myself revisiting this often

sucks

Periphery left Sumerian? Their contract end? Also this song is nice, reminds me of Zeta.
|
| |
People don't like this? oh come on
|
| |
Actually really enjoyed the song. Band name is stupid though.
|
| |
Seriously Periphery are doing so much for the modern era of metal music, a new record label is a huge deal, and they care more about the music more than sales, i find it pretty insulting that people would just dismiss them because of their personal tastes and not look at the bigger picture.
|
| |
i dont think anybody is really talking about periphery...or metal...who are you getting mad at?
|
| |
Well let's hope people who aren't fans of Periphery support this, we'll see about that in due time
|
| |
Love it, deffo getting some Tycho/Telefon Tel Aviv vibes from this which is right up my alley. I can see some people taking their hatred for Periphery and applying to this simply because it's the same members, I think that's what Tundra is referring to.
Cool to see them break away and form their own label tho, hopefully we'll see more than just your stereotypical djent acts on it.
Misha sign me pls.

I am loving this song dude, so good
|
| |
But this sounds nothing like 30stm Dalton
|
| |
This is pretty good.
Much better as a side project
They have been shoehorning this type of stuff into Periphery for a while now and it just doesn't fit there.
|
| |
My issue with Periphery's use of electronica is that it's placed on albums like it's supposed to be segues between songs, which in theory I love the idea of. However, it never feels like it smoothens the transition of songs and usually feels out of place.
That being said, I really dug Bowen's chillstep album that he put out a while back and this is really good too, but seems to run out of ideas about halfway through and gets a little repetitive.

"Seriously Periphery are doing so much for the modern era of metal music"
LOL. Do you live under a fridge?

"Seriously Periphery are doing so much for the modern era of metal music"
Periphery fanboys are worse than Rick and Morty fanboys.
|
| |
"LOL. Do you live under a fridge?"
That's ironic coming from someone refuting Periphery's impact as pioneers in making a career in metal in the 21st century.
|
| |
I mean it was nice, but very in one ear and out the other
|
| |
Pretty good song.
|
| |
The worst part of Periphery is now isolated by itself.
|
| |
"LOL. Do you live under a fridge?"
hopefully not since Fridge is a good band.
Periphery are influential to surface-level mallcore so idk why we should praise that lol.
|
| |
Thats only the music though. I think their influence as businessmen and producers runs much deeper.
