Tom would be damn proud.

These guys never cease to impress me. New album will be a tearjerker for sure.
| |
boring
| |
Fucking great song.
| |
These guys are becoming stagnant
| |
Pretty good, I really liked that main riff. Sam should really mix in more lows into his vocals tho, because he's getting kinda samey
| |
Agreed. Song is legit.
| |
Dan said this won't appear on the album, it's just a standalone single that Tom started writing before his death last year and the rest of the band finished.
| |
Saw these guys at Reading festival a few weeks back. It's been a while since I've really been into their music, but they put on a damn great show.
| |
Fucking great song. [2]

Fucking great song. [6]

look at all the obscure users getting outta the woodwork for this lol
| |
Well, seeing how it's a b-side it's rather unfair so call them stagnant.
| |
"Maybe now I'm lost I can live"
That part onwards gave me massive goosebumps. Song does sound very similar to Downfall tho so I can see why it's a B-side.
Tom would be damn proud [2]
| |
Pretty Good song. nice to hear more clean vocals from sam, the last two albums could've used them tbh
| |
This would probably be on my top 3 songs from them.
| |
Good shit for a normal song... fucking phenomenal considering it's a b-side.
| |
good shit long live the brighton scene
| |
not sure where you're all getting that it's a B-side. Dan said it'll be on the new album.
| |
In the replies on Twitter he did say that it will be on the new album
| |
yeh Architects just quantized into nu-age metal gods
The riffing style and guitar production actually reminds me a bit of Altered State-era Tesseract
The vocals are just becoming more and more mainstreamer-friendly, which I personally feel takes a bit of the thunder out of the song, but it still hits a solid groove.
| |
Have no issues with the song, pretty much exactly what they've been doing since Daybreaker.
But, and maybe it's just me, I thought having Josh Middleton join up was going to bring some really kickass death metal influences. Can't lie, super disappointed.
| |
Well they were trying to keep it true to the song Tom was trying to write.
| |
Okay yeah probably for the best.
But still../
| |
fuck yea architects
| |
I know Josh Middleton from Sylosis was meant to be temporarily filling in for Tom on tour. I see that he is in the video. Anyone know if Josh has now become a permanent guitar player for Architects?
| |
Not bad
| |
I like the video.
So sad the band is kinda crappy.
| |
Fucking great song. [7]
| |
Middleton is now a full time member, was confirmed today.
| |
It's a b-side as in it was written for All Our Gods but Tom couldn't finish it before he died. This is what Dan wrote about it on Twitter: Doomsday is not from an album we've recorded. It's just 1 song. It's just the start. Our way of showing everyone that there's still a future.
| |
He then said in the replies to that tweet that this song is gonna be on the new album
| |
Wow Middleton is a full time member? I like Architects but unless Josh has a big influence over the songwriting going forward, his role will be a big waste of his talents.
| |
Fucking great song [8] tom would be damn proud [3] shit slays [1]
