As if dog-raping, sister-auctions and, well, Billy Corgan weren't weird enough, pop princess Britney Spears is making a tough sell for the week's most bizarre news item, applying as she did during the week for a vacant waitress post in a cocktail bar in LA.
Britney, who's understood to be working on a new album for release next year, apparently told the manager that she "loved the sexy red corsets" worn by the waitresses at Les Deux in Hollywood, before deciding she wanted one and applying for the job.
"She filled out the application, including her work history, address, Social Security number, and then she went to a back room for an interview with the manager. Everyone thought she was joking, but she seemed dead serious," a source told Life And Style Weekly.
