Since when did this album need remastering? Production is fine the way it is.

It's Youtube and I'm using shitty earbuds but God damn the song sounds amazing. Although it could be bias because it's like my second favourite Metallica song lol

Cool. Actually if I was asked to make a list of albums that need be remastered, the four metallica classics would be the four first. Their sound is so underwhelming. They're supposed to be heavy but they sound like Stuart Little getting angry.

What I wouldn't do for a remaster of "...And Justice For All."

Since when perfection needs perfectin'?

Only one Metallica album needs fixing, namely inclusion of the bass and adoption of the discarded mix downs.

I have really mixed feelings about this. It's not like the sound of their first albums kept me from falling in love with them in the first place. Fairly obnoxious cash grab imo.

More audible bass? Yes please! (There had BETTER be a remaster of Justice For All with proper bass down the line)

Ah what a waste. This is easily the album least in need of a remaster from them

They already did that for the first two. Now this makes three-out-of-four.

I'm pretty sure they don't have the masters for AJFA anymore, because the guy who mixed it is always saying he wishes he could fix it but literally can't.

drums sound a lot better, but that bass drum is still so low in the mix it's not that powerful. Still, this is sort of a testament to how good metallica are when they're not actively trying to shoot themselves in the knees.

Thank goodness for that. I recently tried to get back into them and the mixing on these makes it very very difficult. It's like they put tin cans over all the microphones in the studio.

Battery is probably their best song of all time.
