It's funny, with all the trouble that the band went through to prevent this sort of event, it still happened.

How does Oink Work??!??!?!?
|
| |
YAY!!
|
| |
Some advice: Don't download it. It's less than two weeks until its release, and though the temptation is there, please have some respect for the band and buy it.
|
| |
how do album's leak in the first place? are they usually an inside job (ie. someone at the record company?)
|
| |
Something like that, yeah.
|
| |
Just compromise and download it the day it comes out.

PATTERN RECOGNITION'S GUIDE TO ETHICAL MUSICAL EXPERIENCE: 10000 DAYS
1) Download now
2) Buy on release date
3) Buy again (it's Tool...you can never have enough)
There, now everyone's happy.
|
| |
Iam sad to say I don't own any tool albums even though like all their singles are awesome
|
| |
Im not sure if any of you guys play video games but I think I heard "Vicarious" on Doom 3. The game came out before anyone knew about Tool's new album
|
| |
It's not Vicarious. Chris Vrenna, the ex-drummer/percussionist dude from NIN did the Doom 3 soundtrack, and that's the title track you're talking about.
It is however, both very cool, and very tool.

This whole album was probably on LimeWire the whole time. Sucks for Tool, even though they kick *** and take names.
|
| |
even though i never buy albums, and never means never, ill resist the download and go buy it 0:]
|
| |
the album is a fake
|
| |
prove it
|
| |
Go record labels
|
| |
this is probably fake
ive heard 3 different versions of lost keys and jambi and they all sucked
|
| |
yeah there are millions of fakes out there lopl
|
| |
yeah, but there is a real version out there, and I have it, and I know it's real for a fact.

yes, i thought that sounded a lot like tool. they didn't do any other music for the game, though. i'll be glad to hear that intro theme done in better sound quality and non-mono.
and "10000 days" is a horrible album title. i hope the album sounds better than the name though

tool
|

it's real. it's wonderful. yeah, probably will buy it 5 times in the next 5 years from wearing it out so much. tool has tons of my money for each time i've re-purchased each of thier albums (not including differing formats - just the CD alone many many times), and they deserve every penny. Seeing them in two days in Seattle, will see them again in August and again in Jan. The albums beautiful, been listening to it for two weeks and will be buying it right before the show. No big deal. The album will be #1 for a long number of weeks. People will buy the album. AND - those who don't like it yet (I know, I've had and heard the same complaints) - YOU WILL. Not because of some stupid comercial "heard it enough to like it" reason, but because of the sophisticated & aqcuired taste it provides and deeper meanings it reveals. It's Tool. 10,000 days is a very sad and deserving title. This Message Edited On 05.01.06
