A7X and Coheed & Cambria

2006-04-18 by | 18 Comments
The tour kicks off in Poughkeepsie, New York, on April 7, and will hit Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, San Diego and Houston before winding down in late May. So far, dates are confirmed through May 19 in New York, with more expected to be revealed over the coming weeks. The trek was originally conceived as a triple threat: Avenged, Coheed and H.I.M. all sharing the rotating co-headlining bill. But that plan "just didn't work out," Gates said without further elaboration.

If you like both bands then get you can get your tickets at either bands myspace or you can try tickets.com or ticketmaster.com. openers are Head Automatica and 18 Visions.

Both bands people either love or hate, but when it comes down to the music; I can see little similarities besides weird voices and guitar solos.

Both of those bands are pretty much love/hate with their fanboys and detractors, so I really have no idea what your thoughts on this are!

As for me, I think Coheed is pretty good but haven't heard a lot of Avenged Sevenfold.

I actually disagree with Nick. Both of these bands were alright at some point but have pretty much given up on being any good.

Sorry to say it, but I think Coheed has slipped up big time, not only on their last record and its insipid marketing, but on this tour. A7X, of course, slipped up pretty much when Waking The Fallen came out. This Message Edited On 04.19.06
