the inherent problem with this entire concept is that the only reason The Black Parade works as a record is because Gerard has the charisma and vocals to hold the over the top nature of the album and its broader, rudimentary songwriting together. Remove him and replace him with 2-bit scenecore artists and youre going to get a dick punch from all the record's massive flaws... only amplified by the fact that 90% of these artists have terrible vocalists.

Just remaster the original album, holy hell.

That Famous Last Words sounds like it has extremely boring instrumental judging from preview. Like no punch whatsoever.

The End and Sleep sound promising, but that's about it.

Had to come back and say holy shit that Cancer cover was underwhelming as fuck. So bad even TVC15 recognizes although he's wrong nothing sounded promising at the start.

Man that "Cancer" cover doesn't do anything for me. If anything they chose the worst lines to repeat over and over. I don't really know what you would do to that song to match the original. It totally works exactly how it is. If anything I would almost strip the original down further to just basic chords, record it in a church or something where the acoustics echo, and sing it disjointedly so that it fully captures the feeling of bleak loneliness this song should have.
