Rules
| |
yeah well duh
| |
pumped for this, song rules obviously
| |
owns
| |
Goddamn, that was good
| |
track brightened up my day. song kills.
| |
that riff at 3:20 has to be the most metal of the last 6 years tbh.
| |
ah, darkthrone
like your favorite burger
never disappoints
| |
First post-Transilvanian Hunger Darkthrone I've ever heard. What an introduction
| |
jam the underground resistance tbh
| |
ya underground resistance is great
| |
rules hard m/
| |
Yeah, this track isn't anything new or innovative, but goddamn does it m/ hard. What else would we want from Darkthrone?
| |
"What else would we want from Darkthrone?"
something like the cult is alive
| |
Was that record original and/or innovative I can't remember
| |
Really hated underground resistance but this is really good.
| |
pretty good. Darkthrone are the masters of metal minimalism.
| |
"Was that record original and/or innovative I can't remember"
not necessarily but it actually jammed hard and sounded pretty filthy
| |
it's just great black/crust
Fuck reinventing the wheel tbh
| |
This rules, can't wait for the album
| |
Fucking phenomenal. Sounds like a mix of Panzerfaust, Soulside Journey and FOAD. No need to innovate when Fenriz and Ted make shit this good
| |

For those who like it when Fenriz commentates his music (me), check this out too.
| |
not necessarily but it actually jammed hard and sounded pretty filthy
this song actually jams harder tho
| |
But still hearing DT play this filthy DM is one hell of an awesome treat
| |
m/
rules hard
is there anything else that really needs to be said?
| |
sounds rad af
| |
Easily going to be the best metal aoty
| |
Pretty sweet track.
| |
fucking rules. love fenriz' speaking voice too, sounds like a real fun guy
| |
you know their commentary series essence?
its worth man!
| |
Rules, obviously.
| |
no, what? that sounds awesome
| |
fucking owns. can't wait for the album
| |
Siqq
| |
Peaceville did a reissue series of their albums (until hate them i think) with bonus discs of commentary from fenriz and occationally culto over the music. Most of them also can be found on youtube. Get on them man, they give great inside into the band.
| |
fuck yeah this is pretty much exactly what I expected/was hoping for m/
| |
In addition to those commentary discs, which I also highly recommend because they rule. Fenriz also does a Soundcloud based 'radio' show called Radio Fenriz, where he plays a bunch of music that's been released or is going to be released in the month/year of the show.
https://soundcloud.com/heavytassen
Basically him playing a bunch of metal promo tracks from different bands while discussing them (and other stuff) in between songs, great way to find new music and hear Fenriz speak. He uploads them monthly-ish.
| |
This is exactly what I wanted
| |
Good god does this track fucking rip.
| |
Pretty good.
| |
TUUNDRA LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH
| |
oh shit they're soulside journeying this a bit
HYYYYYYYYYYPE
| |
song is badass man i love every second of it
| |
Neat track.
| |
this is fucking metal
| |
Darkthrone has the unique ability to blatantly cobble together riffs and styles from all over the place and end up with a product that is uniquely and unmistakably Darkthrone. They're so good at making a riff their own that they should sue their inspirationa for copyright infringement.
| |
Tundra LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH
| |
this album is gonna fucking slay
| |
Yeah, I've got a good feeling about this one.
| |
wow this rocks surprisingly.
| |
glad everyone seems to like this, its been a nice circlejerk so far.
| |
I think I like Underground Resistance's sound more but this is cool
| |
This is so good
| |
fantastic, brings the riffs
| |
inquisition or darkthrone for aoty
| |
fucking rips
| |
wait this is good? holy shit, posting to remind me to listen later
| |
Yeah track rules
| |
"as if it wouldn't be good?? like why are people somehow surprised that the most consistently good metal band of all time still knows how to rip"
hard [2]
| |
They had a pretty long period of mediocrity.
| |
1996 ending with Circle the Wagons ring any bells?
| |
i fail to recall any such period [2]
| |
Rules hard.
| |
@1:31 I could listen to that riff forever
| |
Awesome.
| |
Why is no one talking about the new album that's been on Youtube for a week now?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ByXWE4vXRw
| |
Trying to wait until my preorder arrives, that's why.
| |

| |

| |
