Sounds like your typical metalcore song from 2007, but it's well written I guess. 3/5

Calling this as their last release as a band.
|
| |
Super generic, yet okay overall.
|
| |
this is about as by-the-book for In Flames-ripoff metalcore as you can get. Only thing it was really missing was pinch harmonics.
|
| |
Pretty decent, will check out the new album when it comes out
|
| |
"Calling this as their last release as a band"
They just signed with Roadrunner Records, are about to go on tour with Breaking Benjamin, and are far bigger than they ever have been after touring with Slipknot. Where did you get this idea from?
|
| |
Average metalcore song. I got a free download of this from them somehow, guess I'm on a mailing list and didn't know.
|
| |
16 year old me would've loved this.
|
| |
i actually really like the drum sound. ATG-core lives on
|
| |
"Average metalcore song. I got a free download of this from them somehow, guess I'm on a mailing list and didn't know."
liar you're defs willing to be on that list
|
| |
If it gets me free stuff sure why not lol
|
| |
im actually on the victory records mailing list which is just awful
i think i bought a counterparts record from there years ago but there aint no way i checked "yes" to the mailing list
|
| |
They've made better, but this isn't too bad.
|
| |
Knowing Victory they don't give you a chance to opt out.
|
| |
"Roadrunner Records" (Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, etc)
Bwahaha I love how you purposefully chose these bands to represent the label
Song is so damn generic though
|
| |
not a big fan of the cleans but the uncleans are the best they've done ever. this track is sure to make detractors take them seriously going forward 3.5/5
|
| |
They can't play any of it live tho. The drummer in particular can't blast worth shit.
|
| |
The drummer is so shit live.
|
| |
I saw them whilst waiting for Ghost Inside once and they were awful live. Granted it was a 45C summer day in Oz but that didn't stop TGI from tearing it the fuck up.
|
| |
"Knowing Victory they don't give you a chance to opt out."
i tried to opt out and it didn't fucking work
now i see what ADTR was so mad about
|
| |
Better than anything off their last album for sure.
|
| |
this sounds like something that would've been off ABR's castellations
|
| |
Sounds like a shitty august burns red bside.
Band has never been good.
|
| |
Yes they have.
|
| |
surprisingly passable for these lot.
|
| |
I would have loved this back in 2007-2009. Now it just sounds like any other song in the genre. It's not bad, but it doesn't stand out in any way.
|
| |
decent, generic but
|
| |
no immaculate misconception
|
| |
I dig this quite a bit.
What happened to Chris's cleans though, they sound so forced here; on their last album they began to sound like Benjamin Burnley in some places.
|
| |
Pretty catchy.
|
| |
Rules. This band doesn't do anything to break the mold, but they don't break the mold in a non-offensive, enjoyable way.
|
| |
I swear with a lot of their songs they hear another band and be like "yea we gotta do a song like that" and they were really feelin' ABR this time around
like the times they were feelin' manson and cradle of filth
song's alright but the cleans are strange
|
| |
I like the song, i have the guilties for generic as generic shitty metalcore.
|
| |
Basically August Burns Red 2.0
I'm down
|
| |
I thought Texas In July was August Burns Red 2.0
|
| |
They are.
