Oasis: New Album In the Works

2007-06-15 by StreetlightRock | 7 Comments
Oasis are set to return to the recording studio on July 3, recording the follow up to 2005's Don't Believe the Truth. Fast talking Noel, who has relinquished the title of 'biggest band in the world' (with good reason, at that), nevertheless plans to make the new album 'absolutely f'ucking colossal' - just like every other album Oasis have made so far, apparently. There's even mention of orchestras and choirs and the like, a la Standing on the Shoulders of Giants; experimental seems to be the order of the day, though just how successful it'll turn out to be remains to be seen. Noel warns:

"The songs are written... but don't hold your breath because the last album took three-and-half-years and three goes"

yawn, i'm bored of Oasis now, they have over exhausted their use as a band - when will Noel finally go solo? Liam is holding him back big-time!

I don't think there boring...there last album had alot of different sounding songs compared to their past albums. And I read that Noel is also planning a solo album he's been doing solo shows around England.
