Seems like a solid replacement. I'd have to hear him on a full track to see how he meshes with the band's sound, but that snippet at the beginning gave me a little bit of confidence.

you stated that the vom guys could play circles around wolvhammer yet a)you probably have never listened to wolvhammer, and b) blackened sludge doesn't rely on intricate instrumentation, so you can't really gauge how well they can or can't play.

I would bet my life he hasn't heard Wolvhammer, or any good metal for that matter.
