Placebo announce unplugged release

Placebo have announced they will be releasing a DVD/Blu Ray and an album of their MTV Unplugged performance from 19th August.

It will feature such well known songs as 'For What It's Worth', 'Meds' and 'The Bitter End' as well as a cover of 'Where Is My Mind'.

A testament of a good songwriter is how good a song sounds stripped back to it's acoustic routes and Brian Molko is unquestionably a great songwriter, this should be good. So many have done the MTV Unplugged thing since Nirvana did it but many haven't quite pulled it off but I don't doubt that Placebo will be in their element here!
