lmao that haircut

Man this video is so try-hard.
| |
wow that chorus riff is like exactly the same as The Mission from the original Mindcrime album
| |
Wow inb4 actual Queensryche sue
| |
Not bad actually. A little surprised that the production is so similar to the original album, but I guess that's the intention of the band
| |
the only interesting this about this entire song is the bit with backing vocals during the chorus, and that's only just kind of interesting because stuff with backing always sounds decent unless you really try to mess it up.
| |
It's less horrendous than expected but it's also boring
| |
AND I RAISE MY HEAD AND STAAAAAAAARRRRRREEEEE
| |
horrible song
| |
INTO THE EYES OF A STRANGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH
| |
It's cut and paste from Operation Mindcrime, the album. Same tones and even some very similar riffs.
| |
Re-Inventing the Future? More like "Can't Let Go of the Past."
| |
The distant future, the year 2000.
| |
Geoff Tate embodies the concept of a midlife crisis.
| |
did they have to rip off my favorite queensryche song
also those drums are awful, i feel scotts pain from afar
| |
I don't even need to hear it to know that this shit is horrible.
| |
yeah i tried though, i really tried
| |
Not a bad song . I think it's pretty good BUT it's trying to be as the actual album so... Geoff' s vocals not good as they were back then
| |
Yeah, it's like a cut&paste from the actual Mindcrime album. If the whole thing is like that, this new album could still be a 3.0 (or around there). This song is way better than the majority of what Queensryche released with Tate in the last 15 years.
| |
Song's actually pretty nice, I love the Mindcrime vibe.
The hatred for Tate is becoming increasingly stupid.
| |
that is a stupid haircut though, you have to admit
| |
Well yeah, his hair has seen better days. That's a fact.
| |
Well...it's an improvement from his recent releases under the Queensryche name.
| |
This is solid! I know he'll sound awful live but I can't see how anyone (still) into this kind of music wouldn't enjoy it.
| |
I didn't think it was horrible. It's CLEARLY a rip of The Mission but, considering his output from the past 15 years, it's actually a step forward.
Production could be better and Tate just doesn't have the chops anymore, sadly... but its really not *that* bad.
| |
the drums drag during the verses
| |
Homeboy looks like Kane from Command And Conquer
| |
Better than anything he's released during the past 20 years, but that's not saying much at all. OK production and better songwriting, eventhough it's a complete ripoff from classic Queensryche riffs, and underwhelming vocals as expected from current day Tate (this will be funny to watch live). At least it's listenable, but well, not much more.
It's funny how he's been crapping on this sound for over a decade and now he wants to go back to it. So much for not wanting to become a nostalgia act and live from the past.
| |
Geoff...grasping on to whatever he can to try to remain relevant.
And after saying all that crap about not wanting to do that kind of music anymore.
What a pile of human garbage.
| |
agreed with Notrap.....
