This is infectious as hell. I've never, ever been a fan of Miley--not her show, not her music, not her lifestyle choices--but I'm all about this. She sounds good here, she and the two ladies look like they're having a genuinely good time, and the cause is a worthy one.
The charity itself, Happy Hippie, is a non-profit organization that Miley herself started, so it's safe to say that she put this together, and that none of these ladies will see any money from it. That makes it all the better.
Also...

You do realize how marketing strategy works, right? If it's not an issue worth pursuing, the effort to promote it founders and dies. Where I live the issue is taking up a lot of column inches, and aging politicians are struggling to adapt their old fashioned views to accommodate the progress. This seems like an opportunity for exposure, and a good one at that. But I'm sure that's not the real reason celebs do such things.
Fuck me lot of support for Miley and Kim kardashian these days on sputnik.

I'm with Pump here, shallow people like Miley and Kim K can't teach me anything new about these causes. Noble causes for sure, but I don't want these people to be spokespeople for these causes when there are plenty of other musicians with more integrity who can give voice to these issues.
