I kinda like that album art but at the same time I have the feeling it has become very conformist to denounce conformity and manipulation. Is it supposed to mean that if you listen to this album, you're not part of the flock ? Because if that's the case, I'll definitely listen to it.

I'm very curious how they will manage the ''I kind of feel like it will be nice to reconnect and remind ourselves of just the basics of who we are'', because i'm not sure if they can succesfully go back to their earlier sound. I mean it was still a 2.5, but jeez they really took to the twi-pop target fanbase and ran with that shit. I miss songs like Knights of Cydonia, Citizen Erased, Plug In Baby, etc.

When they toured Pittsburgh for Absolution, they played Mr Smalls, a small converted church that filled maybe 300 people.

When they toured their last record, they sold at the Consol Energy Center where the Penguins played and had 50+ 18 wheelers to haul around their equipment to play in front of 10,000+ each night.

Sucks their music has gone down hill but try telling that to a band that are reaping the benefits of mediocrity by essentially becoming one of the the biggest rockstars in the world.

Sounds like this will be more guitar based so that's something.

Everything I've heard about it makes me more optimistic for this than the last two albums. Still, gonna wait until it's actually out to make up my mind.

The riff is not like nickel back. -.- They have been playing it since God knows when after Hyper Music and SS live and it was quite exciting.

Everything up to Black Holes is fantastic, a sharp decline from there...

only a few songs after Black holes made me hear them again, like MK Ultra, Unnatural selection, Supremacy and survival.

My guess is that they are releasing the more "dull ones" (although I really liked the song), and they are saving the really epic ones for the album release.
