A bit strange but I dig it! Hopefully there is a few harder tracks on the EP
| |
Cool, I dig it.
| |
Decent. Not really digging the chorus, but the rest is good.
| |
Way too poppy for my taste.
| |
bring back science lol1!!
| |
sounds forced...
| |
Mike Einziger and Brandon Boyd are just too beastly of a combo...both are insanely creative and a couple of the best at what they do...the vocal pattern on this track was a little out there but I still enjoyed it and am really excited for the new album
| |
The new Chon LP comes out the same day. I'll be treating my ears to that instead.
| |
It's growing on me, EP could be pretty good
| |
Didn't they say something about going "heavy"?
| |
I'm honestly enjoying it. Curious to see what the rest of the EP sounds like.
| |
Not bad, it's not elevator music like the last record at least
| |
Sounds like it could've been a poppier song from their older days. Definitely prefer this over their last album.
| |
what the fuck is this and why do you all like it
| |
Pretty cool, sounds like the mars volta's last album at times....
| |
meh, the mix is weird. I feel like the vocals are way too loud. Also the chorus sucks.
| |
Terrible
| |
I like this...a lot. I heard it on the radio a couple times yesterday and wasn't a fan. But this grew on me. Really good stuff. His voice almost reminds me of Myles Kennedy sometimes here...
| |
Yeah, this is pretty cool. Definitely like it more on 2nd listen
| |
Not really into this but it gives me a lil hope
| |
My reaction to this was just "ok"
| |
chorus is nice, love the guitar lick. better than anything off INNW and thats good enough for me
| |
Pretty good catchy single, I guess. Interest restored.
| |
It's pretty enjoyable. I'm really digging this but not so much.
better than anything off INNW [2]
| |
just doesn't exactly "feel" like incubus to me, too poppy.
| |
This is better than their last album by miles, but is a little repetitive.
I miss Dirk on bass.
| |
Pretty boring honestly.
| |
The chorus was a little boring but otherwise was a cool sounding song... the one that was on here a couple weeks ago was better and I look forward to hearing the EP
| |
Song rules, though yeah chorus isn't wowing.
Incubus apparently are a band that can never impress because they're not what they once were. Which I can understand, but I think this stands up on its own.
| |
I use to like incubus
| |
It's okay.
| |
nice to see them experimenting a bit more again
| |
The lyrics make up for repetition. I like the direction they're going too, considering getting back into them. Keep in mind this is for an EP.
| |
I really rather like this song. Gave up on Incubus years ago but this is cool
| |
Hmm not great, not bad. Better than last album at least. I feel like instrumentally it lacks oomph and is somewhat forgettable.. that's the main issue. The melody/vox aren't too bad.
They still can't capture what they had back in the "day", when most of their songs had real focus and edge to them. Songs like "Make Yourself" knew exactly where they were going and did it with fire. Now most of their stuff just feels.. muddied.
| |
Like Incubus meets Muse....meets Seal.....
| |
Hope its not the snoozefest INNW was - I remember seeing them when they toured for that album and whenever they played one of those tracks the energy got sucked right out of the crowd and people decided to take their bathroom breaks/beer runs.
They'll never do another Make Yourself, but christ, drop the elevator music.
| |
damn this aint half bad honestly.. I like the attempt at reinventing themselves a bit
| |
Super meh song.
| |
I swear I heard this song months ago.
| |
They need to go back to singing about shrooms, while most likely on shrooms
| |
very smooth i like it
