It seems like the only song that drags a little is the last one, the rest is all solid thrashy goodness

So far not too bad. I didn't get the last one because it seemed a little lacking but this one may be worth getting. I like their first two albums.

It's no edge of the earth but still good, proper dug it on the first listen so hope it holds up.

Conclusion of an Age kicked so much ass. Last Remaining Light was one of my favorites of the year.

I can't remember if Josh Middleton even considers this to be thrash or not, but regardless, it's a form of metal. People get needlessly butthurt over classifications.
Took me forever to get into Monolith, but Edge of the Earth is one of my favorite albums ever.
Hoping this is a good one.

Yeah, I never got the hate for this band either. Sure they aren't 'true' thrash, but it's not like they're trying to be anyway. All of their albums so far have been great imo so I have high hopes for this.

Last Remaining Light is probably the best song they've made. It's my jam for sure.

I enjoyed their first 2 albums. Monolith however was really bland.

I could jam this once or twice. I'm quite positive.

First impressions are that it's good, though I thought the first half may have been a bit sluggish but it woke up once it got to Indoctrinated. Mercy and Quienscent also stood out.

I enjoy Sylosis (first album was awesome!) but they need to start adding a bit more variety, ESPECIALLY in the vocals, which can be quite monotonous to me at times

Yeah, the hate doesn't make sense to me. I guess their sound is somewhat predictable, but it's still solid, above average metal, through and through. It must be the core vocals that many folks don't like.

Sylosis are so far from straight thrash that is sort of comment is pretty pointless and most probably have anyway

personally i think this album is a bit boring, probably my least favourite of their albums so far

This is pretty awesome. Although not better than Edge of the Earth. And you wont a track like "fear the world" on this, but its consistent without being boring. Heavy and Dark, maybe a little too slow sometimes, could have done with more elaborate riffs. But a step forward for sylosis without necessarily stepping up or down.
