People hate them just to hate them. I have always liked Nickelback and I bought all of their albums. They were fucking awesome live too. This is coming from somebody who listens to bands like Amon Amarth, Scar Symmetry, Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, Tool, Pink Floyd, Riverside, Godsmack, Sevendust, Type O Negative, Paradise Lost, etc. My point is that I like different kinds of shit and I'm not afraid to admit it.

Not a bad song at all. Certainly better than the heavy side of Here & Now.
I have a couple problems with the track (personally), though:
1) The production. Maybe it comes from a lot of Alter Bridge lately (although, I wouldn't call them raw), but the production seemed to really soften the tone of the guitars to a terrible extent. There's no real edge to them.
2) That pronounciation of "revolution." I sometimes do odd pronounciations just to preserve the flow and keep a note easier, but that was cringe-inducing. (For me, anyway. I dunno if it's accent or what.)

Yeah but it's top 20 for Nickelback songs. They have about four songs I would rate above a 3.5. The bottom of the top 20 the songs would already have well started to be rated around a 2.5.
