I have to agree. At least on my first 3 playthroughs. That is certainly subject to change.

I'm especially impressed with Brad's drumming on the album.

I am really skeptical after hearing "For the Mayor of Spitsville", because that was very good...I'll have to go in with an open mind.

Didn't grab me on first listen like Wildlife did, but I'm still intrigued. Will continue to spin and hope there's as much great material as that last album. This is definitely more subtle and refined, but I'm still wishing there was a song like "King Park" or "I See Everything"...

Great album. The guitar work is easily some of the best I've ever heard from these guys.

Loving "Hudsonville MI 1956", "Scenes From Highways 1981-2009", "Woman (In Mirror)", "Stay Happy There" and "Woman (Reading)".

Like someone mentioned earlier, the softer songs are easily the highlights.

This album is really great, and I thought it would be disappointing! I'm really fond of the band and could definitely see this topping wildlife rating wise

I used to like this band until the singer started to get on my nerves with his preachy delivery. Just an opinion. This is pretty boring. I'm gonna listen to longmont potion castle.

This band doesn't make sense. All the instrumentalists in the band are amazing and inspired, but the singer kills all the awesome vibes with his ranty, "deep & poetic" delivery (most of the stuff he says either doesn't make sense or it's about being a disheartened lover). I loved their earlier stuff but I feel like the terrible vocalist is overshadowing the great musicians in the band. Sad to see them playing for 16-year-old scene girls.

Judging by their ratings on this site, more than just 16 y.o scene girls seem to enjoy them

Album is great. I was worried at first when I heard Mayor of Splitsville, but the rest of the album rules. And I don't even mind that song now that I can hear it in context. It won't be my favorite song, but it's not bad.
