sweet, seeming as Thomas erak is with them now I might actually listen to this band
| |
eh
| |
He is
| |
Without brandon, this should be cringeworthy
| |
owens really doesn't sound as screechy as I remember. but based on this song Erak's addition to the band seems to have been mainly for show.
| |
TAKE THESE
MISUNDERSTANDINGS
| |
AND SEND THEM BACK WHERE THEY CAME FROM
| |
Seen Chiodos three times, never played that song ^
Sucks
| |
TO THE GIRL THAT CAN'T FORGIVE ME
| |
Also, i'm so glad they haven't become a generic breakdown band
| |
never listened to his band prior to this song
i can dig it
| |
I don't mind their older stuff, but since Brandon left I'm setting myself up for disappointment.
| |
"Seen Chiodos three times, never played that song ^
Sucks"
Seen Chiodos twice back in the day, they played the song both times
Does not sucks. Also, song does not sucks.
| |
Both songs?
| |
Yeah the new one too.
No that was actually a typo. :/
| |
Good track. Hyped for the album, but I've always had a soft spot for this band
| |
Expected more from the addition of Erak, but we'll see, maybe the rest of the album has some more showy guitar parts. Song was okay.
| |
Yeah the new one too.
No that was actually a typo. :/
Ah, the revised version is what I thought you meant, but then I thought maybe I missed something.
New song is good, btw. I haven't mentioned that yet lol
| |
Really liked Brandon Bolmer as their vocalist, Owens always sounded whiny to me. Not a fan of him coming back.
| |
song was a bit better than I expected. Still that doesn't signify anything that is very good.
| |
I've never given two shits about this band until it was announced that Erak was joining the band and this song has effectively killed any interest I had in this album. Horrible
| |
Thats pretty cool art and the song was sorta ok.
| |
This song is the only thing they've done with Craig I've liked.
| |
decent song i guess.
| |
Brandon was so much better for this band than Craig is, I'm pretty disgusted by his return. This song isn't bad but Craig definitely brings it down. I probably won't bother with the new album. Shame... I really liked Illuminaudio
| |
eh, as a fan of Illuminaudio this does little for me
| |
Craig Owens is surprisingly not awful though so we'll see
| |
I'm sure this will grow on me and sound better in album context but right now it's only ok
| |
I don't understand why people thought one person joining the band would cause a drastic change in sound
| |
I gotta admit I enjoyed Craig's screams here quite a bit, and after a few listens I've decided that he's pretty tolerable for the most part. He has a few lines that just sound fucking awful, the first couple for sure. But all in all this is pretty solid. Who knows, maybe this will actually be good.
| |
no Brandon, no care.
| |
I'm surprised so many people like Brandon better.
| |
Brandon can scream better and has a less whiny voice. but Craig has way better stage presence so I'll give him that.
| |
awful song, thomas is wasting his time with this shit.
| |
I am really, REALLY surprised that I don't hate this.
| |
Who cares, TFoT is back and will give us *free* music.
| |
As much as a cringe at my high school self for listening to these clowns, I have to admit, I saw them years ago when they toured with Protest the Hero and Fall of Troy, and they weren't too bad live.
| |
I like the song. I have always liked this band.
| |
Illuminaudio's material sounds better than this. I have hope since they have homeboy from FoT, but I'm not impressed so far
| |
HAHAHAHAHA THAT FUCKING BRIDGE GETTING BUCK TO THE BREAKDOWN.
| |
this song is cool, but knowing what the musicians in this band are capable of this song is totally lazy
| |
I thought it was alright.
| |
lol copying Lydia and probably a shit ton of other bands with the album name.
| |
Very decent. Nothing as ambitious as their first 2 albums though
| |
what the fuck guys let's put one of the greatest post-hardcore guitarists on our roster and barely utilize his extensive talents
song was the epitome of lame and I must say I am disappointed
however I will eagerly check the album when it comes out for thomas's showy guitar parts
| |
will give this a chance but it probably sucks.
| |
"cool more generic breakdown core"
at least listen to the song before you shit on it lol
| |
cool more generic breakdown core
cool more idiotic statements
| |
they were a ton of fun with erak live, looking forward to giving this a shot and seeing them next tour. Craig takes so much shit here, but he was nothing but cool and grateful every time I talked to him.
| |
Their last album was pretty decent, although I have my doubts about Owen coming back
| |
I think there's too much focus on Thomas not utilizing the full extent of his guitar skills. He wasn't brought in to be a flashy guest guitarist, he was brought in as a full time member to contribute to the unified sound of the band as a whole. In a three piece like TFOT, there's a lot more room to run free with crazy guitar riffs and let them serve as the main focal point, but here I think it's more important for him to know when to pull back and play something simple and melodic but not completely abandoning his main riffy style (as Jason was a pretty riff-heavy guitarist).
Plus the band's already got one full time showoff now a days, no need for another.
| |
eh, that's pretty good critique, whales. In the studio, I think your thoughts could apply well.
But live, they feed off each other's shitheadedness. It was a fucking party.
| |
This is really bad...
| |
We'll see how this sounds in context of the album, but this certainly doesn't seem as good as anything from All's Well That Ends Well. They would've been better sticking with the Illuminaudio sound at this point.
| |
this any decent if i was a fan of their debut album?
| |
Pre guud
| |
Not too shabby!
| |
if erak used his guitar chops more then maybe it'd be okay
but as it stands the song is really weak
| |
Same thoughts, I wasn't expecting TFOT-level wankery but I was expecting some more diversity in the riffs.
