New Muse album due soon.

British rock band Muse have released a statement on their official website in which they have said that a new album and tour are due in Spring 2006. The album will be their fourth studio album, and the follow up to 2003's "Absolution", which cemented their status as one of the biggest rock bands in Britain, as well as raising them to a new level of worldwide popularity.

The news comes as something of a surprise, with little news coming out of the Muse camp regarding a new album over the past few months. This had led to a widespread belief that the album could be expected some time in later 2006, rather than in the Spring. Muse's tour dates, when confirmed, will be their first since 2 pre-Christmas gigs in London in December 2004.
