Album name is dumb.
| |
Song rules though.
| |
Apparently the video is interactive? Idk.
| |
Apparently yeah. Haven't seen it yet.
| |
Amazing track. This could be their best work yet.
| |
disco mane
| |
hi everyone. ill probably have a better opinion of the new album once it releases. mark your calendars! 10/29/13. thx guys!
| |
Is it that soon? I thought it was mid October. Hell yes!
| |
This is pretty fantastic, brings the grooves hard.
| |
They did nothing special in that song to warrant it being 7 and a half minutes. It dragged so much it felt like 15 minutes.
| |
I just might like this.
| |
soty
| |
the song is actually so good, and the regular video's pretty funny too. it's nice to see them just straight goofing
| |
Fantastic. These guys rule hard. Can't wait to buy this whole record!
| |
I want Bowie in my song too
| |
nothing amazing but new af will be nice
| |
30 seconds in...switched to Chvrches. I don't know what to tell you.
| |
End of the song with the sax and piano is really good.
| |
This genuinely surprised me. Very fun, the right amount of pretentiousness (French? why not?), and dat groove. Now I'm excited for a new album.
| |
awesome song.
| |
Cool.
| |
not really anthemic. but whatever
| |
Its not exactly trying to be
| |
That's quiet the change...
Although I loved The Suburbs... I appreciate something fresh if it's well done. And this is pretty
well done.
Sounds a bit like Arcade Fire remixed by LCD Soundsystem or something.
I always liked it when Butler holds back a little in his vocal delivery.
Nice Bowie Cameo.
| |
song didn't disappoint, god damn I love this band
| |
In fact, it was produced by James Murphy from LCDSoundsystem.
| |
this ruuuules
| |
not sure how to feel about this :/
| |
it rules dude spin it again. gets sooooo good at the 3ish minute mark.
| |
eh i'll just wait for the album
don't really care about this band so!
| |
Song was repetitive and didn't really justify its length.
| |
Ahk man fair enough.
| |
dig it. Bowie adds a touch of class to proceedings too
| |
agreed bowie >
| |
probably the greatest song in history of mankind but who cares? didnt met my expectations
| |
If this song is a marker the album is going to be too long and tiresome like the Suburbs. Even so it still grooves pretty well.
| |
"In fact, it was produced by James Murphy from LCDSoundsystem. "
Srsly? Man. It really shows.
| |
Yeah man it is, he produced the whole album.
| |
average.
| |
Loved the band since Funeral, and this is great
| |
can definitely hear the murphy influence fuck yeah
| |
Song is brilliant.
| |
Good song.
| |
pre swee
| |
This band is runs shit consistently.
Their core fanbase doesn't appreciate them as much as they should, so much talent.
| |
band is incredibly boring
| |
hmmm
| |
"band is incredibly boring"
One of the few bands that constantly tries to reinvent themselves is "incredibly boring"?
| |
this band is the opposite of incredibly boring
| |
Incredibly boring, lolwut
| |
Tenacious D was wrong
they are far better than Arcade Fire
this suuuuuuucks
| |
Should have been 5 min long. But still, goddamn this is great stuff. Arcade Fire can do no wrong.
| |
Took a few repeats to hit me but damn this is fantastic.
| |
say what you will about the song as a whole but anyone who doesn't enjoy that groovy synth(?) melody thing that plays twice throughout the song HAS ISSUES.
| |
that huge synth part that starts at 2:59 is when the song really gets amazing. Still getting chills from it.
| |
Epic disco - gets my vote for being on a list of SOTY
| |
Very catchy and enjoyable
| |
snoozefest
| |
Gives Drake and Against me a 5
Arcade Fire = Snoozefest
| |
damn you got me
| |
Ya'll been exposed
| |
Y'allxBeenxExposedxXx
| |
Hey eagles, you should be sucking the little dick of drake. Song is great and only queers like you deny that fact
| |
That's not really a great way to get people to see your point of view.
Also try to refrain from the homophobic comments.
Louis CK brought back faggot, but queer is still mean.
| |
I just heard this on the way home and it's absolutely terrible.
| |
I thought the song is cool at first, it's just a reflektor (just a reflektor) :/
| |
yeah idk man i love funeral as much as the next guy, but i wasn't super into the Suburbs, and I'm not super into this.
| |
yeah idk man i love funeral as much as the next guy, but i wasn't super into the Suburbs, and I'm not super into this.
| |
Everything they have done has ruled and this is no different IMO.
| |
avon. where's wallace? huh? where's the boy at?
| |
You're gonna look at for me, Sgt Carver? You promise? You got my back, huh?
| |
where the boy at.
| |
Someguest finds something quality terrible.. Where have I seen this before batman???
| |
Fuckin' Stringer, man. Nigger needs to stop playing them away games.
| |
I think it's the vocals that get me. I really some of the instrumentals, the percussion in particular.
| |
Everything they have done has ruled and this is no different IMO [2]
None of you can get on the level of that beat. Arcade Fire know what they're doing, I think that arguing otherwise at this point is pretty lame.
The Suburbs destroy Funeral in terms of concept as well as variety. Not saying one is better than the other, but everyone on that album's dick needs to get over it. The beauty of this band is that they have such a great understanding of music that they can excel no matter what style they tackle.
Fuckin' h8rs
Miley Cyrus is just around the corner, leave the frogs alone.
| |
time to take out string. no time for business out here in these streets. you know what you have to do.
| |
let's nugget this shit up and make some real money
| |
You still don't get it. It's not about yo money, String! Your boy gave you up
| |
my name is my name
| |
The game is out there and its either play or get played
| |
heard this again on jjj it's really starting to grab me by the balls like in a gentle yet firm kinda way
| |
The best kind of way. The bit around 3 minutes in rules. Plus Bowie.
| |
yea bowie adds so much coolness holy fuck what a man
| |
Finally started listening to him this past week, Ziggy fucking rules
| |
right on dude his 70s shit is untouchable
low is a life changer
| |
Gonna listen to that next, so pumped.
| |
swee
| |
pretty good
| |
Someguest finds something quality terrible.. Where have I seen this before batman???
Nice to meet you too, asshole.
| |
Just heard this and oh my
Arcade Fire just might be on to something here...I'm calling that this will be a 4.5
| |
Agree. I love the direction they are going with this.
| |
How are more people not talking about how perfect this is
| |
i for one love it
| |
I for one welcome our Canadian indie rock overlords
| |
as you should good sir, as you should
| |
no one cares about their 3 new songs, damn
| |
they rule
| |
This song was bad - even Bowie couldn't save it.
| |
^unfortunately I'm with ya.
| |
Song is not that gd
| |
Arcade Fire has officially gone from setting trends to hopping on trends.
RIP.
| |
Come on man this is great
| |
Yea, this song is awesome. Not sure what people's deal is with it.
| |
This is the most excited I've ever been about an Arcade Fire album. I probably would have been more excited about Funeral, but I didn't know it was coming out until well after the fact.
| |
Same. I'm hoping this one really blows Suburbs away. And I love the direction they're taking with this.
| |
Album should be REALLY epic; 13 songs, two discs, an 11 minute closer. Afterlife sounds great as well.
| |
This genuinely surprised me. Very fun, the right amount of pretentiousness (French? why not?), and dat groove. Now I'm excited for a new album.
How is it pretentious to sing in your own language?
| |
it isn't
