Wes Borland was one of the best things about the band though. Probably one of the greatest Drop D tuners out there.

I always kinda liked Big Dumb Face. It had that weird blend of Ween and Slayer.
He should go back to that.

I hate limp bizkit, blimy those guys were annoying.

Fred Durst was a solid vocalist for Limp Bizkit back in the 90's. He just made a big ass out of himself with Chocolate St*rfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water. Results May Vary was decent work from the band, but I don't know about The Unquestionable Truth until I get part two of the two EP set. It's that part that will really make me decide if the band are still worth it now than they were back then.

1) Borland was still in Limp Bizkit until recently?
2) Limp Bizkit was still in existence until recently?
3) Is it 2000 still?

Just what I was thinking..

I think Wes Borland is a great guitarist, and I'm happy for him for moving on. Whatever he does must be better than Limp Bizkit. This Message Edited On 03.15.06

I don't liek Borland taht much, but at least he's seperating from that @$$ Durst.
|
| |
After listening to some Black Light Burns, I deduce that Borland is making the right decision.
|
| |
I liked what he was doing with Eat the Day, but I guess that never worked out.
I've lost interest in him anyway. His move back into LB showed his interest in money over the music.

I don't care, the Borland made the Bizkit, even though Results May Vary's an alright album. At least they didn't sample from the guitar auditions.

'The Bizkit'? I think I just tasted my lunch twice. This Message Edited On 03.16.06

man lb is gross

What's the big deal with Wes Borland? I've never really been impressed with his guitar playing.

Limp Bizkit is a HORRIBLE band. Fred Durst is the worst lyricist 2 ever hold a microphone.
|
| |
were they even working on a new album or something?
|
| |
Actually, a new EP. They planned on releasing their album The Unquestionable Truth as two separate EPs and when they were making part two of the album, Wes Borland quit the band again.
|

people who give fred durst shit are fukin losers with no lives...the article was clearly about wes and not fred durst so why do you have to give him shit...fukin tossers
|

wes doesn't use drop d-tuning he uses c# standard.
i actually liked thier new album (the unquestionable truth part 1).
i always thought wes would screw the band over by not finishing the process for the second part.
typical.
but to be honest this isn't a band that was meant to go on forever.
i don't know why everyone hates them so much. there is way more worse music than limp bizkit. besides they we're never supposed to be taken seriously.

I agree that Limp Bizkit's sound isn't dating so well. Some bands that have come from the same eira have been able to progress through the ever-changing musical fronts (i.e., Deftones) But, although the general population hates Limp Bizkit, and Fred Durst especially, I will ALWAYS remember the feeling I recieved when I first heard Three Dollar Bill. Uncomprimising in every way.
If they depart permanently now, I'll still have that satisfaction. And no comment, event, occurence will EVER take that away from me.
Metal is dying, but I'll be damned if I'll let these pop-culture sheep and mainsteam ignoramises take those moments away from me.
Period.
